What's
B.Y.O.B.?
Bring Your Own Booze (or Bottle) was supposedly born during the prohibition era in the US, as expected not many written references can be found confirming or denying its origins and existence, however, Rumours has it during this "dry period" some party invitations might have mentioned the subtle suggestion to B.Y.O.B....

Q. What to expect from the BYOB Experience?
A. A knowledgeable mixologist will create original and surprising drinks based on your ideas and will take you through a journey to explore interesting and often unexpected flavours

Q. How much is the experience?
A. The normal price for the B.Y.O.B. experience is €30 per person for 5 cocktails in 2 hours

Q. Can I stay longer?
A. At the end of your reservation time, we need to reset for next group. Depending on availability on the day and at our discretion you might be able to purchase extra drinks and extend your experience

Q. Do I need to bring anything?
A. Yes only the spirit/liquor of your choice, Rumours will provide syrups, juices, herbs, fruits and any other ingredient to make your night memorable
​
Q. What booze shall I bring?
A. It is really your choice, however we strongly suggest to limit the amount of heavy flavoured spirits and creamy liquors. Straight spirits such as tequila, rum, vodka, whisky, gin, mezcal, cachaça, moonshine, pisco, and similar are more versatile and can produce a wider selection of cocktails

Q. How much alcohol shall I bring?
A. We suggest between 200 and 350ml per person

Q. Can I bring open bottles or homemade liquors?
A. No, for everybody´s safety we can only accept sealed bottles
​
Q. Can I join the experience if I don´t drink alcohol?
A. Absolutely, we have a wide selection of ingredients to prepare amazing mocktails based on your preference
​
Q. What if I need to cancel or change my booking?
A. We have a limited amount of places and we are operating a no deposit policy at the moment, so we kindly ask you to inform us at least 24 hours in advance of any change
​
Q. Can I book Rumours for a private event?
A. We do offer private bookings options at the venue and for external events, please get in touch to discuss your project

Q. Will I receive a confirmation upon book online?
A. Yes you will receive an email with the booking reference, if you do not see our confirmation email in your inbox please (check the spam) and get in touch with us at rumours@rumourslisbon.com
